Surprise Bread

Name: Surprise Bread
Ingredients: 1 lb. hamburger meat; 1/2 lb. hot Owens sausage (more if you like it hotter); 1/2 lb. mild Cheddar cheese, grated; 1 loaf Bridgford frozen bread (comes in 3 loaves); onion and pepper (to season meat; optional)

1 lb. hamburger meat
1/2 lb. hot Owens sausage (more if you like it hotter)
1/2 lb. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
1 loaf Bridgford frozen bread (comes in 3 loaves)
onion and pepper (to season meat; optional)

Directions

Thaw and roll loaf of bread flat and long.

Saute meat and cook until it starts to brown.

Drain; add cheese and mix well. Put meat mixture in middle of bread and fold over bread and crimp down.

Brush top of bread with margarine.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350° or until it is as brown as you like.
