Surprise Salad

   Drain pineapple, reserving liquid, set pineapple aside.

   Add enough water to reserve liquid to make 1 1/2 cups.

   Bring to a boil, add jello, stir until dissolved.

   Chill jello until slightly thickened.

   Combine cool whip, pineapple, nuts, cheese spread and sugar.

   Pour into 8 inch square pan. chill until firm.
