  • 1 lb. nuts (pecans, almonds or walnuts)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Add sugar gradually to stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Melt butter; add to egg mixture.

    Add nuts.

    Add salt and cinnamon to taste.

    Stir well to coat all nuts.

    Spread in a jelly roll pan or a cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, stirring after the first 15 minutes.
