- 2 whole Egg Whites
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1 pound Pecan Or Walnut Halves
- 1/2 cups Butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2Beat egg whites until soft peaks begin to form.

3Add sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla.

4Beat until stiff peaks form and turn glossy.

5Fold in nuts and coat well with the egg white mixture.

6Melt butter in a 9x13-inch baking pan by placing it in the oven.

7Evenly spread the coated nuts over the melted butter in the pan.

8Bake for 30 minutes, stirring and turning nuts every 8 minutes.

9(Thirty minutes is an estimate; turn nuts every 8 minutes until no butter remains in the pan.)

10Place hot nuts on foil and allow to cool.

11You may store cooled nuts in an airtight container for several weeks.
