- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. water (warm)
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. Pet milk (evaporated)
- 1 egg (unbeaten)
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Sift flour, sugar and salt in bowl.

3Cut in margarine.

4Add milk, egg, raisins and yeast.

5Mix well.

6Chill in refrigerator, covered, from 2 hours to overnight. Cream 1/4 cup margarine.

7Add brown sugar, creaming well.

8Add nuts.
