- 4 oz. raw shelled walnuts
- 3 c. oil (for frying)
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. powdered sugar
Directions

1Heat the wok.

2Add oil.

3Deep fry the walnuts for about 1 minute. Remove and drain. Remove the oil from the wok and clean it.

4Reheat the wok.

5Place the walnuts and 1 tablespoon water in the wok. Stir lightly to moisten the walnuts. Add the powdered sugar. Stir to mix so that the nuts are lightly coated. Remove the walnuts and place them on a plate to cool. When cool, the sugar will become white and crispy.
