- 1 loaf sweet bread
- 1/2 lb. raisins
- 1/2 lb. coconut
- 2 cans evaporated milk
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 8 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 lb. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 qt. water
Directions

1Break bread in cubes in greased pan or dish, 15 x 10-inch. Sprinkle with raisins and coconut.

2Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt together.

3Mix milk and water; heat.

4Add melted butter.

5Combine sugar mixture, milk and egg; mix well.

6Pour over bread; allow to stand 1/2 hour before baking.

7Bake in 325° oven 1 1/2 hours or until done.

8While in oven, it will rise, but don't worry, it will go down.
