- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Butter and flour 9x5-inch loaf pan.

3Using electric mixer, beat sugar, eggs and butter in large bowl until well blended.

4Beat in milk.

5Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl.

6Add to butter mixture and beat just until blended.

7Pour batter into prepared pan.

8Bake until golden brown and tester inserted into center of bread comes out clean, about 1 hour.

9Transfer pan to rack and cool 10 minutes.

10Using small knife, cut around sides of pan to loosen bread.

11Turn bread out onto rack and cool completely.

12(Can be made 1 day ahead.

13Wrap in foil and store at room temperature.)
