Sweet Corn Casserole

  • 2 (16 oz.) cans sweet corn (white), drained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 6 pieces fried bacon
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions

    Saute onion in butter.

    Stir in flour until dissolved in butter.

    Mix in the sour cream and bring to a boil over medium heat.

    Add the corn and 1/2 of the crumbled bacon and then pour the mixture into a casserole dish.

    Add the remaining bacon as a topping and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.

    This recipe can easily be cut in half.
