- 3/4 c. scalded milk
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
Directions

1Scald milk (in microwave) and then put Crisco, sugar and salt into milk and dissolve.

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Soften yeast in the lukewarm water, then add to milk mixture, along with eggs.

4Beat in flour.

5Let rise until light or doubled, about 1 hour.

6Knead well and shape into rolls.

7Let rise again (1 hour).

8Bake at 400° until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
