- 1 qt. dill pickles (either plain or kosher), cut lengthwise
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. pickling spice
Directions

1Drain and rinse dill pickles.

2In pan, mix sugar, cider vinegar, water and pickling spice.

3Simmer until clear.

4Pour over pickles, repacked in jar, while hot.

5Let stand 2 days in refrigerator.
