  • 1 qt. dill pickles (either plain or kosher), cut lengthwise
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. pickling spice

Directions

    Drain and rinse dill pickles.

    In pan, mix sugar, cider vinegar, water and pickling spice.

    Simmer until clear.

    Pour over pickles, repacked in jar, while hot.

    Let stand 2 days in refrigerator.
