- 50 small cucumbers
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- pickling spice
Directions

1Cover cucumbers in salt solution of 1/3 cup salt to each quart of water.

2Let stand 12 hours (overnight).

3Drain and dry. Combine vinegar, water and sugar.

4Boil 10 minutes or until clear. Add cucumbers and let stand at low heat until they lose the green color and turn yellowish.

5Put 1/2 teaspoon per pint jar (1 teaspoon per quart jar) of pickling spice in bottom of jar.

6Add cucumbers.

7Cover with the hot syrup and seal jars.
