- 50 small cucumbers
- 1 c. water
- mixed spices
- 3 c. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. salt to each qt. water
Directions

1Cover cucumbers in salt water overnight.

2Drain and dry (cut if desired).

3Boil vinegar and sugar until clear.

4Add cucumbers, let stand over low heat until they loose their green color.

5Place 1 teaspoon spice in bottom of each quart jar.

6Add pickles, cover with hot syrup and seal.
