  • 1 3/4 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 c. evaporated sweet milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

    Combine all ingredients using electric mixer.

    Beat until light and fluffy.

    Pour into 9-inch pie shells.

    Bake at 350° until a knife stuck in the middle is clean.

    Brush brown sugar over top of pies and on crust.
