  • 2 lb. round steak, cut in serving size pieces
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes, drained (reserve juice)
  • sliced onions to taste
  • chopped green peppers to taste
  • fresh mushrooms to taste
  • 1/2 c. tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Mix tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce and cornstarch.

    On heavy-duty foil which has been greased and placed on a cookie sheet, arrange overlapping pieces of steak.

    Top with sliced onions, green peppers and fresh mushrooms.

    Pour cornstarch mixture over all.

    Seal tightly.

    Bake in 350° oven for 2 hours.
