- 1 loaf French bread
- 8 oz. (2 sticks) softened
- 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 3/4 tsp. celery seed
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Directions

1Trim top and side crusts from bread, leaving bottom crust intact.

2Make diagonal cuts, 1-inch thick, through the bread, but not through bottom.

3Combine all remaining ingredients.

4Spread half the butter mixture between bread slices.

5Use remaining mixture to frost top and sides of bread.

6Place bread in foil boat; cover loosely with another sheet of foil.

7Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.

8Uncover for the last 5 minutes.
