  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
  • 3 or 4 potatoes, sliced
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 can whole tomatoes, mashed
  • lemon juice
  • sliced lemon (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste

Directions

    Place steak in deep Pyrex dish.

    Cover with lemon juice. Alternate layers of potatoes and onions; top with tomatoes, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

    Top with lemon slices, if desired.

    Bake at 400° until done.
