- 12 (4 oz.) Minute steaks, tenderized
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 fresh, medium green pepper
- 2 (1 lb.) cans canned tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute onion and pepper in hot fat.

2Remove from skillet. Brown steaks slightly; salt and pepper to taste.

3Place steaks in casserole pan in single layer, if possible.

4Mash canned tomatoes; add sugar.

5Mix in onion and pepper.

6Spoon vegetables over steak.

7Bake covered for 1 hour at 300°.

8Serves 12.
