- 10 Ortega taco shells, coarsely broken
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. Ortega taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. grated cheese
- 1 large wedged tomato
- 6 green olives, sliced
- mild taco sauce
Directions

1Place 1/2 taco shells in lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

2I skillet brown beef until crumbly; drain.

3Add taco mix and water.

4Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

5Stir in onion and tomato sauce.

6Spoon over taco shells.

7Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups cheese, rest of taco shells and remaining cheese.

8Top with tomato wedges and olives.

9Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
