  • 16 oz. refried beans
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 3/4 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 3/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 small cans black olives, chopped
  • 1 small can jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine beans, 3 tablespoons tomato sauce and 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce.

    Spread in bottom of 1 1/2 quart baking dish.

    Top with tomatoes and Monterey Jack cheese.

    Brown the ground beef; drain.

    Stir in chili powder, the rest of Tabasco sauce, tomato sauce, olives, salt and peppers.

    Spread on top of cheese. Sprinkle on Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
