Ingredients

  • ["1 pound Ground Beef", "1 package (1 Oz.) Taco Seasoning (Or Chili Powder, Adobo, Garlic Salt, Or Your Preferred Seasoning)", "23 cups Water", "2 cups Shredded Cheese, Or More To Taste", "Diced Peppers Or Onions To Taste", "1 whole Pizza Dough (Homemade Or Store-Bought, Enough For Two 8\" Pizzas)""]"

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. 2
Brown the meat in a skillet or frying pan and drain the fat.
  3. 3
Once fully cooked (no longer pink), add taco seasoning and water.
  4. 4
Boil off most of the liquid, and set aside to cool.
  5. 5
Unroll pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet.
  6. 6
    Cut dough into 8 squares.
  7. 7
Sprinkle roughly 1/4 cup cheese on each square.
  8. 8
Spoon beef (or turkey or chickenreally, any of those meats will work) mixture over the cheese.
  9. 9
(Do not spread to the edge).
  10. 10
Top with peppers or onions if desired (I skip these, but my hubby likes them).
  11. 11
Fold one side of the dough over the filling.
  12. 12
Press around the edges of the pocket with a fork to seal.
  13. 13
(I hope my picture shows this well.)
  14. 14
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  15. 15
Sometimes if the seal isnt great, the liquid leaks out.
  16. 16
If you are worried, you can always put them on a rack on top of a baking sheet to cook, or even to cool.
  17. 17
Super easy, super yummy, and something a little different!
