- 1 lb ground beef
- 13 cup taco bell thick 'n chunky salsa
- 1 12 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 12 lb Velveeta cheese
Directions

1Brown meat in large skillet, drain.

2Stir in 2 and 3/4 cups water, salsa and chili powder.

3Bring to boil; stir in macaroni.

4Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until water is almost absorbed.

5Note: I had a hard time getting the macaroni done so I precooked it the next time and it turned out fine.

6I also added just a little water to make this a little thinner, it is very thick and rich.

7Add Velveeta; stir until melted.

8Top with crushed tortilla chips, chopped green onions and tomatoes, if desired.
