  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 3 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • 3/4 cups Water
  • 1 can Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough (8 Ounce Can)
  • 16 ounces, weight Sour Cream (optional)
  • 1/4 pounds Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 1- 1/2 cup Frito Chips, Crushed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium saute pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef.

    Once its browned, remove excess fat with a spoon.

    Add the taco seasoning and water and stir to combine.

    Heat until it starts to thicken.

    Remove from heat.

    In a 9x13 lightly greased casserole dish press crescent rolls in the bottom.

    Spread meat evenly over the dough.

    If choosing to use sour cream then spread that over the beef.

    Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.

    Finish with crushed up Frito chips (I crush them in a zip-lock bag with a rolling pin).

    Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
