Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pintos, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • l (16 oz.) can lima beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can hominy, drained
  • 3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 3 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chilies
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 (1 oz.) pkg. Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onions; drain fat.

    Add all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Top each bowlful with cheese.

    Serve with tortilla chips and sour cream.

    Serve with shredded cheese.
