  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • shredded cheese
  • sliced avocado

Directions

    In large saucepan or Dutch oven brown beef and onion; drain. Puree the tomatoes in liquid.

    Add to pan with tomato sauce, water, beans, corn and taco seasoning.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

    If you desire, top each serving with avocados, cheese and serve with cheese.
