Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup, water and cream of tartar in saucepan. Cook until sugar melts.

    Cook without stirring to very hard ball stage.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  4. 4
    Pour into greased platter.

    When cool enough to handle, pull until white, twist and cut.
