- 2 cups fresh coconut, grated
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
Directions

1Combine coconut, sugar and water.

2Blend flour and baking powder together.

3Mix all ingredients to a doughy texture adding a little flour as needed so is not too sticky.

4Wrap in aluminum foil and bake in oven at 350 for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.

5Makes 5 loaves.
