  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried chipotle powder
  • 1 tablespoon mesquite powder
  • cooking broth:
  • 1/2 cup frozen apple juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
  • 2 dozen white or whole wheat buns
  • Assorted purchased BBQ sauces
