  • 1 c. (small) tapioca
  • 1 c. water
  • 5 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • vanilla
  • Cool Whip or Dream Whip

Directions

    Soak tapioca in water for at least 1 hour.

    Add milk and cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

    Add salt, sugar and eggs (mixed).

    Cook, stirring 10 to 15 minutes longer.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla.

    Add Cool Whip when completely cool. Jello or fruit may be added along with the Cool Whip.
