- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh tarragon
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Directions

1Beat the butter with an electric mixer until fluffy, then stir in the tarragon and lemon juice.

2Using waxed paper, shape the butter into a log.

3(If you want to pipe the butter into decorative shapes, spoon it into a pastry bag fitted with a star tip.)

4Chill.

5Slice the butter log and place a few slices on top of grilled steak or fish.
