Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cold unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp. cold water

Directions

    In a food processor, pulse flour, sugar, and salt to mix.

    Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles small peas.

    With the machine running, add yolk mixture through feed tube; process until dough forms a ball.
