- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 1/2 c. plain flour
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs and beat well.

3Add flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla.

4Knead a small amount at a time and roll out thinly.

5Cut into halves.

6Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
