  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • finely chopped nuts (if desired)

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat well; add vanilla.

    Combine flour, soda and salt.

    Fold into margarine mixture.

    Roll on floured board or roll it in your hand and flatten.

    Cook at 350° for about 12 minutes.

    I like them better without nuts.
