- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 5 1/2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Directions

1Mix in a large bowl; cream the butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Combine the flour and baking powder.

4Add to butter mixture alternately with milk.

5Add flavoring and mix well. Place dough on a floured board and knead.

6Roll dough to 1/2-inch thick and cut or roll out like biscuits.

7Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.

8Makes about 3 dozen.
