Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs.

    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.

    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.

    Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° until light brown.
