- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 GARNISH (if desired) cinnamon, whole cinnamon sticks, toasted coconut flakes
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.

2Heat over low to medium heat.

3Whisk in the coconut milk and simmer, stirring constantly, until mixture is thoroughly cooked and thickened, about 8 to 12 minutes.

4Remove from the heat and divide into 8 individual dessert cups.

5Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

6Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon, a cinnamon stick, and/or toasted coconut flakes.
