- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 5 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
Directions

1Scatter yeast on warm water and let stand few minutes before stirring to dissolve.

2Put flour, salt and sugar in bowl.

3Cut in butter.

4Add yeast.

5Mix well.

6Roll on surface to 1/4-inch thick; cut with biscuit cutter and stack 2-inches deep with layer of butter between.

7Let rise about 1 hour.

8Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
