Tex-Mex Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 2 medium size, black-skinned avocados
  • 2 tsp. fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. seeded and finely chopped fresh or canned green chili pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. minced, fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Halve the avocados lengthwise and scoop the flesh into a medium size bowl.

    Add the lime juice and salt.

    Mash with a fork, mixing well.

    Add the green onions, tomato, garlic, green chili pepper and cilantro.

    Blend well.

    Serve with tortilla chips.
