  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift together in a large bowl the flour, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil in small saucepan the margarine, water and cocoa. Add to flour mixture and stir well. Beat eggs well and add. Combine soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Add and mix well. Pour into greased and cocoa covered jelly roll pan.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
