  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

    Combine butter, water and cocoa in pan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Mix flour and sugar together.

    Pour cocoa mixture over flour and sugar. Mix well.

    Add the egg, vanilla and sour cream and mix well.

    Pour in greased 13 x 18-inch pan and bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Fifteen minutes before cake is done, prepare icing.
