- 1 1/2 lb. chili meat (ground meat)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 can water
- 1 tsp. cumin seed
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown the chili meat in large heavy skillet.

2Add onion and garlic; stir.

3Cook together with meat, about 5 minutes.

4Add can of tomato sauce and water.

5Add can of tomato paste and water, together with cumin seed.

6Add chili powder about 1 hour before done and salt and pepper to taste.

7Simmer, covered, on stove or oven about 2 hours.

8Remove cover and simmer until thickens.
