- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
- 2 boxes cornbread mix
- 3 Joyously peppers, chopped
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Saute meat until brown.

2Saute onion; drain.

3Beat eggs.

4Add corn, bread mix and milk; mix well.

5Preheat cast-iron skillet in oven at 350°.

6Remove; grease pan.

7Place 1/2 cornbread mixture into pan.

8Add hamburger, onion, peppers and cheese.

9Top with remaining cornbread mixture.

10Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

11Remove from oven; place on wet towel for 15 minutes.
