- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 (16 oz) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Brown ground beef, onions and green pepper in large frying pan.

2Pour off drippings.

3Sprinkle chili powder, salt and pepper over meat.

4Add tomatoes and rice.

5Bring to a boil.

6Reduce heat, cover tightly and cook until rice is done, 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
