- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 or 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 c. tomatoes
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2In large skillet, stir and cook meat, onions and green bell pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

3Drain off fat.

4Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper.

5Heat through; pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.

6Cover; bake 1 hour.

7Makes 4 to 6 servings.
