- 1 c. unbroken pecans
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla or coconut flavor
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Line pie pan with your favorite pastry.

2Arrange pecans over pastry.

3Cream butter and sugar together.

4Add remaining ingredients, beating well.

5Pour into unbaked pie shell over the pecans and bake at 450° for 10 minutes; then reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

6Cool.

7Makes one 9-inch pie.
