  • 32 oz. pkg. frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pt. sour cream (12 oz.)
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion or 2 Tbsp. dehydrated
  • 10 oz. or 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Defrost potatoes.

    Combine butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese.

    Mix and add potatoes.

    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole.

    Layer with corn flakes and butter.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
