  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil together margarine, water and cocoa.

    Add flour, sugar and salt.

    Then add eggs, sour cream, soda and vanilla.

    Pour into jelly roll pan (15 x 9 x 2-inch) and bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Frost cake while warm with frosting.
