  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put in a saucepan and bring to a boil the first 4 ingredients. Sift together flour and sugar.

    Pour first mixture over flour and sugar.

    Mix well.

    Beat 2 eggs.

    Add to eggs the buttermilk or sour milk, soda and vanilla.

    Add batter and pour into greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

    Frost cake while still hot.
