  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Put margarine, water and cocoa in saucepan and bring to a boil. Can use self-rising flour and forget soda and salt.

    Mix rest of ingredients. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes in a greased and floured cookie sheet, 15 1/2 x 10
