- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar, salt and soda.

2Bring oleo, water and cocoa to a boil; mix with first mixture.

3Beat eggs in small bowl.

4Add sour milk or buttermilk and vanilla and add to first mixture. Pour into a greased cookie sheet, 12 x 15-inch.

5Bake at 375° for 20 minutes only.

6After cake has baked for 15 minutes, begin icing.
